JP Levin is an American actor in film, television, and theatre. Most recently, he appeared as Judge Simon Brown in The Security Guard, a feature film from La Salle Productions available for streaming on Prime Video.
In theatre, he created the role of the Candidate in two improvisationally created productions of Senseless at Chelsea Playhouse, a political comedy with original text and music that ran during the 1996 Presidential primaries and general election (Clinton v. Dole). Additional theatre credits include Nina in the Morning (Narrator) in Durang/Durang at the Currican Theater.
Over 25 years he has written hundreds of poems, usually created spontaneously in the manner of a sketch artist and shared quickly with friends by email and on social media. He studies Portuguese and is plugging away at the basics of jazz piano.
